Kiton is a luxury clothing company co-founded in 1956 in Naples, Italy by Ciro Paone, a fifth-generation fabric merchant, and Antonio Carola. Launched in 1968, the brand gets its name from the Greek word chiton (costume).

The Leather for Kiton’s shoes is sourced from France and Italy. It is waterproofed and made supple by a two-year aging procedure in the ground; it is steeped in a mixture of oak, chestnut and mimosa flowers and then coloured with 100% - organic dyes.
